Ohio Buckeye Health Plan concluded a study focused on the benefit for high risk mothers who receive Pathways Community HUB care coordination compared to those who did not. Mothers with high risk pregnancies who were not exposed to any community hub activity were 1.55 times more likely to deliver a baby needing special care nursery or NICU care when compared to high risk pregnant mothers who received hub services through delivery.
